Brides should have a photographer picked out by now. If not, there’s not much time, since professional photographer’s schedules fill up well in advance of  the actual wedding date.  Brides should look for someone with lots of real experience.  Don’t hire the weekend snap-shooter who only photographed his niece’s  wedding.  This is not the time to have someone experimenting with your wedding pictures. 

Arrangements with your venue should be finalized also. If not, get on the phone with the banquet or catering manager and get the details hammered out now.  The better venues have their space reserved well in advance.  This goes for the better caterers, florists and wedding coordinators also. Early is better.
